The Opportunity

In establishing ourselves as a global leader in our field, Heliolytics has seen sustained triple-digit growth, both in the work we do as well as the team that makes it all possible. As we look to the future, it is critical that we build a solid foundation to support our team in its ambitious goals. In the role of Human Operations Lead, you will work directly with the executives to develop and implement foundational improvements to our people strategy. This role at Heliolytics presents a challenging but exciting opportunity to make your mark on an organisation that is growing rapidly and would benefit from your guidance and management.

Your Responsibilities

  • Continually review and enhance Heliolytics’ people strategy and workforce plan
  • Further cultivate and scale our company culture
  • Develop and implement HR metrics, using data to advise the executive team and your own strategic decisions
  • Be a trusted liaison between the executives and employees, providing guidance and mentorship while addressing concerns
  • Devise and implement company policy to foster an inclusive culture that nurtures employees’ career goals
  • Develop and support annual review process and performance management practices
  • Working with people management, develop and own employee on-boarding and off-boarding processes
  • Strategize the recruitment and pipelining of new hires in support of a growing team
  • Ensure Heliolytics’ compliance with applicable employment laws and legislation and keep the Executive team informed of any concerns or changes

Our Expectations

  • 5+ years experience in progressive HR roles
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, psychology, human resources, or related disciplines
  • Ability to think strategically, operationalize strategies and execute
  • Experience as a trusted partner to leaders in an organization, and a demonstrated ability to nurture effective relationships with employees across all levels of the organization
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring team members of all levels
  • Understand how to develop policies and processes to promote inclusivity among a diverse group
  • Strong understanding of employment law, regulations, and best practices
  • Experience working in a high growth, fast-paced environment
