About you:

You are confident, extroverted, proactive, creative, highly motivated, self-starter and passionate about sales. You feel fulfilled promoting and supporting an environmental movement. You are knowledgeable about environmental practices and products and are an outgoing individual with exceptional sales skills who can maintain impactful, professional, and pleasant interactions with leads.

You have extremely strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable with cold-calling, approaching members of the public to ask for membership support. Above all, you are committed to achieving the highest standards and exceeding sales expectations in all aspects of your work!

About the Opportunity:

The Green Acts Membership Sales Lead will focus on membership sales through e-mail, phone calls, and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn Twitter). Your goal will be to generate leads, prospect for new members, and grow out membership program by closing deals.

You will also work closely with our CEO to provide input about our Green Acts Membership Program and our Membership Sales strategy.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Green Act Membership Sales
    • Through e-mail, phone, social media and zoom meetings
    • Prospecting new leads
    • Upselling - converting existing members to higher levels of membership
    • Strategic lead generation
  • HubSpot Customer Relation Management Knowledge
  • Strong personal interest and commitment to Random Acts of Green’s environmental mission and vision
  • Outgoing and able to approach the public in discussions about Random Acts of Green’s membership program

Education & Experience:

  • B.A/B.S University degree with a concentration in environmental studies, marketing, promotions, sales, or business administration preferred
  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM
  • Proven track record exceeding Sales Quotas
  • Public speaking certificate

Job Details:

  • Summer Employment Contract (2 months) with strong possibility of extension
  • Compensation: $18 /hour + commission for 35 hours a week
  • Location: Peterborough, Ontario
