Position: Project Coordinator

Each year in North America roughly 10 million tons of furniture and equipment ends up in landfills. Much of this is generated by corporate real estate projects, which is increasingly out of sync with the sustainability policies of many corporations and institutions.

Green Standards is a world leader in managing the sustainable decommissioning of corporate interiors, and works with some of the largest organizations in the world, including many Fortune 100 corporations.

We have managed hundreds of projects North America-wide and in just a few years have:

  • Diverted 20,000 tons of material from landfill
  • Generated $25M in in-kind donations to non-profits
  • Worked on several of the largest corporate real-estate projects in history

Green Standards is growing rapidly, and must expand its operational bandwidth. We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual who is eager for the opportunity to develop with and participate in the growth of the company.

About the job:

As a Project Coordinator you will be the front facing representative of Green Standards to our community partner stakeholders. Under the direction of the Operations Manager and the Director of Operations you will be tasked with matching available donations with qualifying beneficiaries throughout Canada and the US.

Your role will include:

  • Maintaining and expanding our network of over 17,000 non-profit community partners
  • Matching current needs of beneficiaries with available inventory
  • Arranging for donation deliveries
  • Updating a database with current stakeholder information
  • Assisting with data metrics and client reporting
  • Others tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager


  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience making high-volume of persuasive and friendly calls
  • Past experience with database maintenance
  • Problem solving skills, and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive and multi-task in a very fast-paced environment

Desired assets (not required)

  • Ability to speak French
