In 2020, in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Bike to Work Week pivoted to a digital first event in May 2020 called ‘Go by Bike Week’. In September 2020 the celebrations took a ‘hybrid’ model of digital and in-person events including celebration stations (re-named Knowledge HUBs), and digital events such as webinars, videos and livestreams. The successful candidate is expected to remain flexible as the best laid plans may change during the global pandemic.
